Keep instructions and fixings together
Keep manufacturer instructions and loose fixings labelled with the relevant item. Confirm the scope for each item before the move; no standard assembly time or fixed crew size is promised.
Check the room and access
Note stairs, lifts, shared entrances and where each item will go. Crew arrangements are discussed for each job, and all dates and times need manual confirmation.
Confirm unusual work item by item
Mention wall-mounted furniture, unusual fixings, damaged pieces or specialist requirements before agreeing the scope. Do not assume these are included; limits are checked for each job.
